you must have great understanding in the basics like perspective, color theory, anatomy. that is just going to give you an edge over everyone else and that will push you to be a great designer vs. someone who doesn’t have the knowledge and the know-how of all these things. when you have a strong root, you know you just going to grow and bloom even bigger. the objective of the course is really to give the student a very strong skill set that they could use in the real world, where they could be able to tackle any problem. and i think that is what is most important in today’s world - where clients demand so many different things and you should be able to deliver that in the specific time in their style. so you have to be versatile and you have to be open to challenges.
and that is what it takes. so this pretty much is what sums up this course where you will be able to solve any problem and deliver to your client. so the art essentials module is going to start with super basic but super important part of art - - one point and two point perspective. then we going to go to understanding lighting and how light works in the real world. then we are going to move on to stuff like color theory. we are going to move on to some basic anatomy because that’s really important to understand the figure and how it works. and then we end with how we go about design process, which is the aesthetics of design. so we start with just creating a mood board, understanding referencing of images, we then go into thumbnailing and finally we come up with our product.
so after the student is done with the fundamental art essentials, he is going to move on to the more advanced module, which is the product design module. the product design module is designed in such a way where it’s more project specific. so we going to be dealing with real world problems and solving them and actually coming up with our own product and also its packaging. when a student is done with their one-year diploma, they are going to have a very strong skill set and they are going to have very versatile portfolio, which is going show all aspects of art and design and the aesthetics. they not just going to be normal studio guys, they going to be actual creative thinkers which is going to push them to next level - and they have unlimited growth.
